Meet Coach Calvin
Owner & Head Coach of San Diego Natives Baseball.
Calvin Chambers is the owner and head coach of San Diego Natives. He has spent 15 years as a private baseball instructor, working one-on-one with players across all positions and age groups. His specialties include hitting mechanics, pitching development, defensive footwork, and the mental side of the game.
Currently, Calvin serves as head varsity coach at a private high school in San Diego, where he leads a competitive program and mentors student-athletes pursuing college baseball.
Calvin founded the Natives with a clear mission: build a program where every kid — regardless of background — gets coached up, competes hard, and walks away a better player and a better person. The Natives family is built on hard work, accountability, and a deep love for the game.
