What is Travel Baseball?
More Than a Game
Travel baseball offers a more competitive and intensive experience than recreational leagues. It's designed for players eager to elevate their skills, learn advanced strategies, and compete against top talent. Expect more frequent practices, specialized coaching, and tournament play that takes your game to the next level — in a challenging but supportive environment.
The Program
What You Get
2–3 Practices Per Week
Fundamentals, advanced technique, team strategy, and game-situation reps at Hickman Field.
Strength & Conditioning
One optional weekly session focused on athleticism, injury prevention, and on-field performance.
Parents are welcome to join.
Tournament Play
Minimum two tournaments per month during the competitive season (July–January) against top regional competition.
Elite Coaching Staff
Led by Coach Calvin Chambers, with a roster of former college athletes and seasoned instructors.
Investment
Program Investment
Covers two practices per week plus one strength & conditioning session.
Tournament Fees
Tournament entry fees are paid out of pocket, due two weeks before each event. Costs are communicated in advance so families can plan ahead.

Calvin Chambers
Owner & Head Coach
Coach Calvin brings 15 years of private instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, and game IQ, plus current experience as a head varsity coach at a private high school in San Diego. He's built San Diego Natives around one belief: every player on the field deserves to be developed, challenged, and believed in.
